Frequently Asked Questions

What’s included in the sale price?

The sale price includes two custom sliding windows (one for the driver side and one for the passenger side). The sale price does not include window installation, taxes, or shipping costs.

The cost of shipping is calculated at checkout and is added to the total order price. For orders within NY state, sales tax is calculated at checkout and added to the total order price.

Where are your services offered?

Our business is located in the New York tri-state area. We ship our sliding windows to every state within the United States. Currently, we do not offer shipping to international locations

What Jeep models do your sliding windows fit?

Currently, we only offer sliding windows for the Hardtop version of the Jeep Wrangler JL body style, which has been in production from 2018 to present. We offer sliding windows for both 2-door and 4-door models made with the JL body style.

What is your return policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with our sliding windows, we will offer a full refund of the purchase price. In order to get a refund, you will need to remove the sliding windows from your Jeep and ship them back to us in the box that we used to ship the sliding windows to you. When we receive the sliding windows, we'll refund you the full price of the windows.

We understand that there will be some marks on the windows due to their installation and removal. However, if the windows are seriously damaged or are not functional when we receive them, we will not be able to issue a full refund.

Note that we cannot refund the shipping costs (both the original shipping to you and the shipping for the return).

What materials are the sliding windows made of?

The frame of our sliding windows is made of high-quality aluminum, which is custom made to fit the precise dimensions of your Jeep. The windows are made of high-quality 4mm toughened safety glass with polished edges and is 80% tinted, which allows 20% light transmission. The safety glass meets all US Department of Transportation safety requirements.

How do I open, Close, and lock the sliding windows?

Our sliding windows can only be opened and closed from inside the Jeep. The windows cannot be opened from outside to provide security and prevent people entering your Jeep when it is locked. The sliding windows are operated manually using a button to unlock the window. Once the button is pushed, the sliding window unlatches and is free to move. There are multiple opening positions (every few inches) to control how far the windows open. When you close the sliding windows fully, the windows latch shut to prevent them from being opened from the outside.

How do I install my sliding windows?

We do not offer window installation services, so you are free to choose how to install the sliding windows into your jeep.

We strongly recommend that you find a professional automotive glass repair shop to install your windows. In our experience, you can expect to pay $300 to $500 to have both windows installed into your Jeep.

We do not recommend installing the windows yourself, but if you are confident in your ability to install them yourself, you are free to do so.

How do I find an auto glass shop?

The easiest way to find a glass shop is to search the internet or Goggle Maps for auto glass repair shops. Call the shops and ask if they are able to remove your factory windows (without breaking them), and install a sliding window with an aluminum frame that has the exact same dimensions as the factory glass windows.

Keep in mind that many auto glass shops do not have experience installing sliding windows. Some shops may tell you that they need to break your factory Jeep windows in order to install the sliding windows. If a shop tells you that they can't remove your factory windows without breaking them, that just means they do not know how to do the job correctly, and you should look for a different shop to do the job.

The glass shops that we have experience working with are able to remove both factory windows (without breaking them) and install both sliding windows within 2 to 4 hours total, and they charge $300 to $500 to do the job.

We have a list of auto glass shops that our customers have already used to install their sliding windows. When you tell us your zip code, we can tell if we know of any auto glass shops in your area that know how to install our sliding windows.

What should I do with my factory windows?

We recommend that you keep your factory windows and store them in the box we used to ship you the sliding windows. The factory windows fit well in the box that we use to ship you the sliding windows. Keeping the factory windows will enable you to install them back into your jeep in the future if you want to remove the sliding windows.

You can also choose to sell your factory windows if you do not want to keep them.

How do I know what body style my jeep wrangler is?

All Jeep Wranglers made after 2018 use the JL body style. In 2018 both JL and JK body styles were produced. All Jeep Wranglers produced from 2007 to 2017 used the JK body style.

  • If your Jeep Wrangler was made in or after 2019, it is a JL model, and we offer sliding windows for your Jeep.

  • If your Jeep was made prior to 2018, it is not a JL model, and we do not currently offer sliding windows for your Jeep.

  • If your Jeep was made in 2018, or if you're still unsure about your Jeep Wrangler's body style, there are a few other ways you can determine the body style of your Jeep.
